Learn As You Go
BlockTrain’s “Learn As You Go" refers to our eLearning, where learners acquire knowledge & skills through interactive self-paced learning experiences, progressively building upon your existing understanding as you advance.
Here’s are our 5 key points for Learn As You Go:
Self-Paced Learning:
Learners have the flexibility to progress through the course at their own pace. "Learn as you go" takes advantage of this flexibility by allowing learners to move through the content gradually, mastering each concept before moving on to the next. This self-paced approach accommodates individual learning preferences, ensuring that learners can engage with the material in a way that suits their needs.
Modular Structure:
Courses designed with a "Learn As You Go" approach often feature a modular structure, where content is broken down into smaller, manageable units. Each module focuses on a specific learning objective, allowing learners to concentrate on mastering one concept at a time. This modular design facilitates incremental learning, so learners build upon their knowledge & skills step by step.
Interactive Learning Activities:
We incorporate a variety of interactive learning activities to engage learners & to reinforce understanding. This includes gamification, quizzes, simulations, case studies, discussions & multimedia presentations.
Adaptive Learning Pathways:
We leverage adaptive learning technologies to personalise the learning experience for each learner. Through data analytics and our Student Management System, Blocktrain assess learners' strengths or weaknesses and adjusts the learning pathway accordingly. This helps provide targeted instruction and support, guiding learners through content based on their individual needs and progress on that subject.
Feedback and Assessment:
Continuous feedback and assessment are essential components of the "Learn As You Go" approach. Learners receive feedback on their performance
Remote Connected
Embodies an eLearning strategy that harnesses the strength of remote connectivity technologies such as Zoom & Teams to facilitate immersive learning experiences. Integrating online platforms, communication tools, & digital resources to deliver dynamic instruction & engage learners, regardless of location.
Here’s are our 5 key points for Remote Connected:
Online Learning Platforms:
Relies on dedicated online learning platforms aligned to our Learning Management Systems (LMS), serving as virtual classrooms. Integration with services such as Teams, offer a centralised hub for instructors to deliver content and for learners to access materials, submit assignments, engage in discussions, and monitor their progress as a community.
Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning:
Incorporating both synchronous & asynchronous learning activities. Synchronous learning involves real-time interactions between instructors & learners through live lectures, video conferences, or virtual classrooms using tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Asynchronous enables learners to engage with materials at their own pace, accessing pre-recorded lectures, discussion forums, and multimedia resources whenever convenient.
Remote Communication Tools:
Using a diverse array of remote multimedia resources to facilitate collaboration, interaction, & support. These tools include email, instant messaging, videos, interactive simulations, discussion forums, video conferencing, & collaborative document editing platforms. Instructors provide guidance, answer questions, facilitate discussions, work through dynamic content & interactive experiences as a community of learners.
Digital Assessments and Feedback:
Assessment environments encompass a range of digital formats, including online quizzes, assignments, peer assessments, & automated grading tools & video sessions. Digital assessments offer flexibility & convenience for both instructors & learners, facilitating efficient grading & providing timely feedback.
Access and Inclusivity:
Promotes access and inclusivity by eliminating geographical barriers & accommodating diverse learner needs. Learners can participate in courses from anywhere with an internet connection, ensuring access to educational opportunities regardless of their location or physical constraints.
